The first regular convocation of the new year (September 16/09) was a Chapter of Instruction featuring the details of how the Chapter Room is set up and the purpose behind each item in the room. This was well received by our three recently Exalted members who have accepted officer positions in the Chapter and are anxious to learn as much about Capitular Masonry as they can possibly absorb. Afterwards, several of the members ajorned to the Walkley Bowling Centre for a period of fellowship while we re-freshed our aching memories of the 5-pin bowling of our youth.... At the regular convocation of March 18, 2009, the Council for the ensuing year was installed and Officers invested (see News). The Chapter hosted a number of visitors from sister chapters, some of whom assisted in the Installation Ceremony. Companions from the other four chapters in Ottawa District 13 were present, including Ex. Comps. Brian Griffin, Les Richardson, Alan Simpson and George Chiaba, of Ottawa Chapter 222; Ex. Comp. Michael Jenkyns of Kitchener Chapter No. 210; R. Ex. Comp. Andrew Graham, Grand Superintendent, and V. Ex. Comp. Barry Watson, both of Maitland Chapter No. 68; and R. Ex. Comp. John Moor, St. John's Chapter No. 148. Also in attendance were: V. Ex. Comp. Gary Gosling, Grand Master of the 2nd Veil and a member of Dochert Chapter; and Comp. Geoff Roberts, Scribe Ezra of Sanhedrin Chapter.
